Located at 400 Hillside Drive in Wooster, Ohio
The Chalet was fully renovated in 2019 to create a beautiful space for gatherings in the rising city of Wooster. From January 2019 through May 2019 employees of the Public Properties Maintenance division spent many of their working hours renovating The Chalet.
Some behind the scenes updates include a new HVAC system, electrical upgrades, new lighting, plumbing, and windows.
Fun Fact- The Chalet was originally built to be a warming center for an Ice Rink that was going to be put in at Freedlander Park!
Our Story
OUR APPROACH
We have everything you need all in one location. Our updated kitchen has a large island, food warmers, beautiful cabinetry for storage, and more. The common area consists of a large gas fireplace, two loveseats as well as additional seating. We also supply tables and chairs to accommodate your requests. For wedding parties, we offer the Bridal Suite located in the women's restroom.
When reserving the Chalet, we will work closely with you on how you would like tables and chairs displayed for your events. Everything will be set up and ready for you upon arrival.

Outdoor Patio
Coming Spring 2024!
The Chalet is currently being renovated to include the new outdoor patio and seating area.
PPM crews and contractors will be installing a retaining wall, new patio, railing, and pool deck improvements, with a planned completion date of Memorial Day.

The women's restroom is now equipped with an adjacent Bridal Suite for the bride and her guests to get ready in.
The men's restroom has been updated to match the aesthetic of the rest of the building.

The Chalet space includes a removable seating area in front of a beautiful 5ft gas fireplace.
We are able to accommodate seating for up to 190 individuals with round and rectangular tables.
Tables and chairs are included in your rental.
WE DO NOT BOOK ON THE FOLLOWING HOLIDAYS
New Years Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve + Christmas Day are not available.
